At Eastern Journal, we strive to combat the issue of inequality in the United States by empowering the voices of Asian Americans. We believe that journalism and writing are one of the best ways to spread information about Asian-American life. Through celebrating triumphs, sharing our culture, and addressing issues, we hope to be the bridge that connects people with the diverse stories that define the Asian-American experience.
Meet the Founder
Hi! I’m Eric Chen, and I’m a Chinese-American high school senior in Baltimore, Maryland. I founded Eastern Journal to help empower Asian-American students and the broader Asian-American community through my passion for journalism and writing. I believe spreading awareness about Asian-American successes, culture, and issues through my blog posts can help make our world more accepting and equal.
