As a Maryland resident, I’ve eaten at my fair share of Asian restaurants across the state. However, today, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite Asian restaurants in Towson that I would recommend others to try! Please note that I am unable to include every single restaurant that I enjoy, so I might create another post about more Asian restaurants that I find to be good.
If you love Japanese food, Akira Ramen may be a great option to try. They have all sorts of Japanese dishes, not just ramen as the name might suggest. Some of the food that I especially enjoyed were the many kinds of ramen and the sushi there. However, the rice dishes, such as the Gyu Don, and the deserts also seem to be worth a try.
Just around the corner, KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened in 2023. The restaurant is an all-you-can-eat experience, combining Korean barbeque and hotpot so customers can have a wider array of options to choose from. For those who have never tried Korean barbeque or hotpot, they are great experiences, allowing the customer to cook their own food in either a Korean barbeque grill or a pot with broth.
Finally, if you are up to trying some spicy food, look no further than Red Pepper Sichuan Bistro. This restaurant includes many of the Sichuan classics, such as Dan Dan Noodles or Mapo Tofu. These dishes include the Sichuan pepper, which has a numbing effect on top of the spice, creating the renowned combination of the two sensations.
